I noticed recently that Burger King now has a rewards program.
I have not been to a BK in awhile and re-installed the app to take a quick look.
The app’s user interface has very much the same “feel” as the Tim Hortons app – which makes sense since they are both owned by the same parent company.
The points program appears very similar to McDonald’s – earn 100 points or “Crowns” for every dollar spent (before taxes).
Rewards redemptions are tiered, starting at 2000 Crowns for a free small fries.
Currently, the main and important difference from the McDonald’s or Tim Hortons rewards programs however – is that to earn points, you must make an online order – there is no option to scan if ordering at the counter.
For a limited time, get 5000 bonus Crowns on your first digital order (app or at burgerking.ca).
burgers earn you Crowns, Crowns earn you burgers ???
