Caddle is an app offering cashback for answering surveys and for uploading receipts for purchasing featured products and from shopping trips at participating supermarkets.
They were featured on Dragons’ Den in 2016 and obtained the backing of four of the Dragons.
I have personally found that my regular grocery cart doesn’t often include anything from their featured products. It has thus likely taken me longer than the average shopper to reach the minimum threshold of $20 before a cashout can be requested, which is sent by cheque.
With that said, I have cashed out just over $100 to date since signing up for the program when they launched, earned primarily from:
completing daily surveys
watching and commenting on the occasional commercial displayed in-app
uploading receipts from supermarket visits
The earnings from the daily surveys are currently relatively low, starting at 5¢ or 10¢ but can be more depending on the length of the survey – however these surveys are always simple and can often be completed within a minute or two.
The minimum shopping amount for supermarket visits is $5.00. After uploading your receipt, you can then sometimes expect a followup survey about your trip at that store.
For myself, the app still offers sufficiently enough opportunity to earn with minimal effort and time.
