I recently came across Eclipsa – a grocery cashback app, similar to Caddle and Checkout51, available for iPhone and Android.
Simple, clean design and unlike the other apps – you can earn cashback on produce and general categories, rather than specific brands. A big plus!
Use the app to capture and upload your receipts with the purchased items. Approvals are rather quick and the list of qualifying items is updated every Thursday.
You can cash out your earnings when you reach the $20 threshold, via cheque or Interac e-transfer (another plus).
I’ve only had it installed for about a month and already have a few bucks earned.
I will update this post once I reach my first cashout.
Update:
I have reached the minimum to request my first payment – it was received via Interac e-transfer within a couple of days after my cashout request.
The app is legit, easy to use, and I find myself earning on at least a couple of items each week. Give it a try if you haven’t already done so.

I have been trying to cash out for the first time. Was supposed to get an email transfer in one business day. It’s been well over a week and still nothing. I have sent 3 emails they have not responded to. Not impressed!!!
So sorry to hear that. I’ve had a few cashouts already since writing this review. Can other readers chime in as to their experience with Eclipsa so far
no problems here. I have withdraw once from them. hope they didnt go out of business.

Here’s my experience –
First cash out was February 10th. Asked for update March 11 as never received cheque. Received response March 13 saying they were waiting for a batch of new cheques. Asked for another update April 18. Advised a cheque was issued a week before. Never received. Asked for further updates May 5th, May 14th, May 23rd and never heard anything.
Here’s a quick follow up to my earlier comments. This week, I received a cheque from Eclipsa- much to my surprise! The cheque was dated from mid-April. No explanation, just the cheque in the amount expected. My wife continued using the app and believing in them. Me, not so much. This company has restored SOME of my faith in them…so thank you! I’ll wait to finalize my judgment until the next cash out. Until then….NEVER assume your wife is wrong!
