Home Hardware no longer issuing Aeroplan rewards points

I dropped by my local Home Hardware to pick up some items to prepare for the spring, and when I took out my Aeroplan card, I was informed that their participation in the Aeroplan program ended March 31.

As a non-frequent traveller, Home Hardware was one of the few places I could still count upon to occasionally earn a few points and keep my account active.

The announcement was made back in January on their website: www.homehardware.ca/en/home-hardware-and-aeroplan-partnership-to-end

* You can still however redeem your points on the Aeroplan site for Home Hardware gift cards though.
