Anyone who purchased lithium ion batteries or products containing lithium ion batteries in Canada between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2012 is eligible to claim part of a class-action settlement announced today.
Eligible products containing lithium ion batteries include laptop computers, e-book readers, MP3 players, handheld GPS, cellphones, smartphones, etc.
A claim of $20 can be made without documentation.
