Rogers facing class action over outage

The class action suit was filed on Monday, seeking $400 compensation for members who are Rogers, Fido, and Chatr customers affected by the network failure on July 8 and 9.

Visit LPC Avocat’s website at lpclex.com/rogers for more details on the proposed suit and to sign up for updates. According to their site, they also filed a suit against Tim Hortons over their app tracking, on behalf of Quebec residents.

Note: Rogers has stated that they will be proactively crediting customers. Do not respond or click on any links received via text messages offering such credits as they may be scams.

While I have no doubt it will eventually result in some settlement for consumers – just note that class action lawsuits can take many years to run its course.
